Don’t take photos, whatever you don’t take photos. Except at the coolest international borders, then that’s entirely fine. I’ve managed four international borders in a day the current record stands at nineteen in a day, but if all we’re doing is crossing borders for the sake of it, we may as well just fly over them. I’ve crossed through No-Mans Land from Jordan to Israel, walked five kilometres around Lake Ohrid to get from Albania to Macedonia and swam between Argentina and Brazil at Iguazu Falls. International Borders are sometimes much more than just a passport stamp, or a long queue through Heathrow Airport. There is always that sense of anticipation and excitement at entering a new country, and sometimes that entry is half the fun.
